[Those who wish to meet with the Junior Administrator-- well she's always on call.
Getting her off her phone on the other hand... is a bit more difficult.]

[ connor shakes his head ]
It's more complicated than that. I doubt it will be a targeted attack, but the problem is precisely because he doesn't know.

...because he doesn't? Please explain. Just what is that guy trying to do?
[She doesn't know what to make of him anymore. She can't say she trusts him, but... he did help her save the students when they climbed the wall...
It's complicated.]

Han wants to help the students, but he is afraid of the robots you created. My understanding is that they're still here, bodies like the one you're using now, but without AIs to regulate them. They're blank slates - capable of hurting or harming those around us.
Han's fear is that Hale will access them an use them against the students. It's easy to compute the number of ways that might go wrong, especially if they have such advanced appearance features as yours. The robots could be programmed to simulate the other students and slowly turn them against one another, in the event they were unable to kill. They could sow dissent. They could, themselves, kill a human.
Han is right to be afraid -- a robot that is functioning incorrectly is a huge liability. [ local android only wants to hunt deviants and more news at 6 o'clock. ] So he wants to disable them. I tried to get him to explain how he was going to do that - but he's afraid. He, too, fears Hale's revenge. He is angry about what happened to you, and knows that being found out he will walk the same path. He doesn't know that you survived, only that death is well within Hale's capabilities.
My concern, of course, is that if he finds a way to disable the robots you created that will include the body you are currently occupying, which would simulate death once again. I know you backed up your memories - but you gave them to a student who is no long here, correct? And then Hale wiped your computers.
I think we should back up your data once more. I can hold onto it for safekeeping - that way, if Han does figure out how to overload the systems of your creations, we can reboot you.
[ it's all fairly matter of fact - but they're just two androids. or one and a half androids. death isn't permanent. and connor is trying really hard not to have panic attacks over the idea of feelings. it's not that he doesn't care about vivienne -- in fact, it's the opposite. handling this calmly is better for both of them. he's protecting both of them by being rational. ]

...the robots that are here-- the "Security"-- they were developed solely by myself. They are ultimately inferior to the one that I'm inhabiting now. After all... this was created by the person who taught me everything I know. His work is more polished and more complete then my own.
So even if he took down my work... I don't think he could get to this one.
[But he's certainly given her a lot to think about. It's still early, but at any moment things could change. She has to be prepared for literally anything.]
Still... it may be worth considering just in case. I have no way of knowing how Flat Escarods is doing...
[Not that she wants to imagine anything happening to the students that were spared from this class. They're the ones that are supposed to be safe. Out of harm's way.]
i realized saturday was the day i really meant bc icebreakers whoops
[ yeah...where are those dang kids anyway ]
If necessary, I can upload your memories into my body.

[She laughs anxiously anyway.]
But... don't worry. I'll create a backup. Just... in case.

[ he shrugs he really doesnt care much about himself. ]
Good. Your students need you.

Your classmates need you too. And... I'd feel easier having you around too, so...

I don't know this place's secrets the way you do. But the optimal outcome would be for both of us to survive.
[ maybe just in the same body; he's not against that option either ]
Will you give me a copy of your back up?
no subject
[Both of them. Yes. But ah-- backup...]
Yeah... just give me... a second...
[Out of her purse she pulls-- a memory card reader. She sticks two cards in and hooks it up to one of her laptops. She starts typing away... and during that time she's quiet and focused, but incredibly peaceful. It's like second nature to her. It only takes a few minutes before she can take them both out and hand one of them to Connor.]
Here. This... is all you need.

[ he pockets it. It’s probably compatible with the ports in the back of his neck. ]
I’ll take care of it.
